MyQ Chamberlain Smart Garage Control

I recently upgraded my garage door to make it smarter. I played with the idea to build my own kit and not rely on the cloud, but when going over the options, the pros ,and cons, this upgrade made sense. 

There are people who complain about the noise and the flashing light on this, but I find it not as bad. (I will try and get a video of this posted)

In the end, I was able to keep my existing opener and all of the functions so anyone can use the door. But now I can tell remotely if the door is open or closed, creating a schedule to close the door at night if needed. I have Home Assistant integrations enabled and working with custom automations. 

And next, I am planning on turning on the Amazon Key feature.
